Fire Station 28 was built in 1950 to serve the Piru and east Santa Clara Valley area. The station has been a strong center for our volunteer firefighter program over the years, producing many full-time firefighters from those ranks.
The Piru Fire Station is staffed daily by three firefighters who operate
a pumper (Engine 28) and a brush engine (Engine
