Fire
Station 21 serves the City of Ojai and the eastern Ojai Valley. It
was constructed on its current site in 1979 to replace the original
fire station located on Montgomery Avenue. Ojai Fire Station is staffed
daily by three firefighters and houses three pieces of equipment:
a 2002 American La France (Engine 21); a 1988 FMC 1500 gpm Squirt reserve
pumper (Engine 121); and a 2003 Westmark/International brush engine (Engine
321). The Squrt is a 50' aerial mounted on a conventional pumper
and is the only aerial device stationed in the Ojai Valley.
