Built in 1952, Fire Station 43 is located in the Santa Susana Knolls area of Ventura County. From its location on Cypress Street, it serves the eastern end of the City of Simi Valley and the unincorporated areas of the Knolls and Box Canyon.
The Susana Knolls Fire Station is staffed daily by three firefighters and houses a 2000 American LaFrance pumper (Engine 43); a 2003 Westmark/International brush engine (Engine 343); and a 2001 Dodge Quad 4WD utility truck (Utility 43).
