Becoming a Fire Prevention Community Service Volunteer
If you are at least 16 years old, willing to donate 4-20 hours a week, and are interested in taking an active role in Fire Prevention in your community, sign up to learn more about the Community Service Volunteer program. A majority of the volunteers will be placed in Community Education, however with approval, placement in other offices can be arranged. The Community Service Volunteer program will match your abilities and interests with the Department's needs. There are a variety of ways in which volunteers can contribute.

- Help to teach fire safety programs
- Assist on emergencies
- Help with clerical and computer work
- Staff public displays
- Use your special skills and/or knowledge to help enhance our Department
