The Ventura County Fire Department recognizes that the public is our greatest partner in public safety. Public education is the first line of defense in protecting life, property and the environment.
We offer dozens of special programs and events designed to help members of our community learn more about prevention and preparation.
From child safety seat installations to our junior fire academy to fire station tours to our volunteer programs, we offer youths and adults of all ages a variety of ways to learn about fire and life safety and get involved in protecting their communities.
