Unit Organization

The Code Enforcement Unit is responsible for the issuance of Uniform Fire Code permits, special events, the Fire Prevention Inspection Program, the Business Self Inspection Program, licensed care facility inspections and fire hazard complaints. The unit works closely with city and county agencies to identify new businesses moving to existing facilities to ensure compliance with Fire Code and Ordinance requirements.
